Toronto, Canada Sage Full time

**Job Description**:
We are hiring a dynamic and commercially-minded Director of Growth to lead the go-to-market strategy for our Accountants Program, with a dedicated focus on HR and Payroll solutions. This role will be pivotal in expanding Sage’s footprint within the accounting ecosystem by enabling firms to grow through technology, automation, and scalable service offerings—without outsourcing.

This role is being created to address a critical growth opportunity within our accountant channel—specifically the increasing demand for in-house HR and payroll capabilities among firms serving nonprofit, professional services, and HR-centric clients. As the market shifts toward integrated service models, we require a dedicated leader to design and operationalize growth strategy, build a supporting team, and ensure that our go-to-market motion aligns with the evolving needs of modern accounting firms.

**Requirements**:

- 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Strategic GTM roles.
- Strong familiarity with the accounting industry, particularly HR/payroll workflows and firm-level service delivery models.
- Proven track record of building and executing GTM strategies within a B2B SaaS or fintech environment.
- Ability to build and scale a team, manage cross-functional alignment, and deliver revenue results.

This role is hybrid in our Toronto office, 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sage’s growth strategy for accountant-led HR and payroll solutions, including positioning, pricing, packaging, and route-to-market plans.
- Drive adoption and expansion within the Sage Accountants Program (SAP), with a specific focus on firms scaling their HR and payroll offerings.
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on revenue growth, partner enablement, and execution.
- Define and manage revenue forecasts, KPIs, and performance tracking in partnership with Commercial Operations and Finance.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Partner teams to remove blockers, ensure message-market fit, and continuously improve execution.
- Represent the voice of the accounting customer internally, influencing product direction and strategic investments.
- Partner with external firms, associations, and influencers to expand Sage’s presence and influence in the HR and payroll technology space.

Plenty of perks:

- 100% paid premiums for health, dental, and vision coverage.
- RRSP contribution match (100% up to 4%).
- 35 days paid time off (11 paid holidays, 16 vacation days, 3 personal days, 5 sick days).
- 18 weeks of paid parental leave for birth, adoption, or surrogacy offered 1 year after the start date.
- 5 days paid yearly to volunteer (through Sage Foundation).
- $5,250 tuition reimbursement per calendar year starting 6 months after the hire date.
- Sage Wellness Rewards Program (annual fitness reimbursement).
- Library of on-demand career development options and ongoing training offerings.
