The AV Technician will provide and maintain audio and visual services to meet the needs of the Firm.

**Hours of Work**: 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (ET); Monday to Friday, and overtime as required in accordance to Firm’s meetings schedule

**Major Responsibilities**
- Provides audio and visual set-ups and support for the Conference Centre meetings
- Provides end user support for web based meeting (MS Teams, Zoom and Webex)
- Provides video and audio recording of meetings as requested
- video and audio editing of recordings using Camtasia and other editing software
- Maintain all AV equipment in good working order and location of inventory
- Coordinate with MPR department to ensure the correct room and equipment has been requested to meet the needs requested by end user
- Provide support services to the Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver and New York offices
- Provide direction to AV technicians in other offices for large firm events

**Position Requirements**
- Education and Experience_

Community College diploma in electronics engineering plus two years experience in audio/visual services. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable.
- Knowledge and Skills_
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of audio and visual systems
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to perform under high pressure situations, working live events and handling last minute changes
- Knowledge of telecommunication services and network communications for video conferencing systems
- Problem-solving skills in order to effectively resolve challenges
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities
- Ability to exercise good tact, judgement and sense of urgency in situations involving legal professionals and clients
- Customer service focus and a positive, professional demeanour
