**Role Summary & Purpose**:
The Production Employee is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of production lines in accordance with company standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and health and safety regulations. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, line efficiency, and overall team performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **1. Production Operations**_
- Set up, operate, clean, and maintain assigned equipment and production lines.
- Ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are met throughout the shift.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or production delays to the Supervisor promptly.
- **2. Quality & Compliance**_
- Perform and document all required quality inspections accurately and on time.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, and all Black Fly Beverage Company Inc. quality standards.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report any contamination, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- **3. Safety & Workplace Conduct**_
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safe work procedures at all times.
- Recognize and report hazards or near-misses in accordance with Health & Safety policies.
- Support a respectful, inclusive, and cooperative work environment.
- **4. Attendance & Team Responsibilities**_
- Arrive on time, ready to work at the start of the shift and after breaks.
- Notify your Supervisor of any absences or delays prior to shift start.
- Communicate effectively with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions.
**Working Conditions**:
- Fast-paced beverage production environment.
- Requires standing for long periods, repetitive tasks, and ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to varying noise levels, moisture, and temperature changes.
- This position involves rotating shift work. Employees must be available to work all shifts as scheduled, including:
- o 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Day Shift)o 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (Afternoon Shift)o 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (Night Shift)
- Overtime, weekend, or holiday work may occasionally be required, with pay and scheduling handled in compliance with ESA standards.
**Qualifications**:
- 3-5 years working in a manufacturing setting **is required**.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent **is required.**:
- Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently.
- Basic math skills.
- Physical dexterity.
- Able to meet rotating shift requirements.
- Reliance attendance is required.
