We are currently hiring for our front desk and we are seeking a dynamic, mature, creative and outgoing individual with a passion for client relations.

We are looking for someone with drive who wants to grow with our company as we make plans for exciting new changes and expansion. Being a business that clients have been loyal to for decades, it is important to us that we show our appreciation back by engaging and giving back to our community.
- Knowledge of cashier principles, balancing and open/closing cash. Ability to deal with cash, tips, credit cards, bank debit
- Must be able to handle busy times and stay on top of the goals set out for the day, week or month
- Light cleaning duties around the salon and running errands when required
- Front desk experience and/or, a passion for the hair industry and/or looking for long term growth an asset

We are looking for a unique individual who is not only comfortable and confident to take on the front face of this well established business, but also someone who is excited to work with the owner to create fun and exciting social media content, educational videos, campaigns (contests & giveaways), and community events.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Education: High School

Experience: Retail, administration or equivalent type of customer facing experience

Personal Suitability: Reliable, team player, effective interpersonal skills, client focused, eager to learn and grow skills, social media savvy

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$22.79 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kanata, ON K2L 1V3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
