**Description**:
Home Instead is looking for certified, Personal Support Workers (PSW), Home Support Workers (HSW), Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Companionship
- Hygiene Assistance
- Home Management
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Shopping & Errands
- Medication cueing
- Personal care assistance.Keeping accurate records of care
- Properly maintain communication regarding:

- Client activities-Progress-Concerns
- Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect
- Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care **Requirements to be a Caregiver**:
**Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner**
Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check
**Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references**
Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation

**Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment**

**Part-Time, Casual, & Full-Time hours available. We have a variety of shifts available, as we are available 24/7 for our clients**

- Driving License (preferred)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- License (required)
