**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to service completion. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their automotive needs, recommend services, and facilitate repairs.

**Duties**
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, leveraging your mechanical knowledge.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service recommendations.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely communication regarding service updates and completion times.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay informed about dealership promotions, new products, and industry trends to enhance sales opportunities.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge or background in automotive repair is highly desirable.
- Experience in cash handling and sales is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
