Newmarket, Canada Looking for a Math Tutor Full time

Duties:

- Assess students' individual needs and develop personalized tutoring plans.
- Create engaging and interactive lessons to help students grasp difficult concepts.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring strategies as needed.
- Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance.

**Experience**:

- **Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.**:

- Familiarity with classroom and computer-based educational tools and resources.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
- **Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.**

**My son requires assistance from someone with strong communication skills due to a communication disorder.**:

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish a positive rapport with students.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
