**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians as necessary.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and academic growth.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to support students’ overall development.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of Math and Ontario curriculum concepts.
- Experience working with children, including those with special education needs.
- Ability to educate effectively using various teaching methods tailored to different learning styles.
- Proficient in utilizing technology for educational purposes, including computer-based learning tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, student progress tracking, and scheduling.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed academically.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
