Victoria, Canada City Centre Grille and Langford Lanes Full time

**TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist the Service Manager with the operation of the Front of House (FOH) at the Grille.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the FOH team.
- Promote a culture of accountability.
- Ensure that all relevant procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that cleanliness and sanitization standards are consistently maintained.
- Support the development of a culture that remains focused on service excellence.
- At times, some hosting, serving, bussing, food running, and bartending duties may be required.
- Provide training to all staff in areas such as - beverage preparation, food safety, health

standards, customer service, liquor control and licensing standards.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering/receiving product, and timely rotation of stock.
- Work with the Events Coordinator on the implementation of any special events in the Grille.
- Cash handling will be required.
- Other duties, as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Serving it Right Certification
- Food Safe Certification
- Criminal Record Check
- Restaurant/Service management experience would be considered an asset.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**: Work is performed primarily in City Centre Grille (including the patio) and Langford Lanes, although some office work may be required. Hours of work may a vary and will include a mix of days, evenings and weekend work. Heavy lifting may be required up to 50 lbs. This role will be required to work in a fast-paced environment; repetitive tasks and standing for hours at a time are common. Job hazards may include slips, and cuts, but injuries are seldom serious.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
