**Adfast is currently seeking a Production Handler**

**Job Descriptions**

Under the supervision of the Silicone / SS Production Team Leader, the Production Handler is responsible for logistics duties in the production department.

**Working Conditions**:

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Status : Permanent
- Benefits : Group insurance, RRSP program

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Transport raw materials to the production lines
- Manage the return of raw materials to the warehouse
- Transport pallets of finished products out of the production area
- Receiving and internal handling of pallets for production
- Participate in the development of new warehousing methods in production sites if required
- Dispose of recyclable and returnable materials appropriately
- Manage the destruction of chemical products (Tote, drums, containers, pallets)
- Contact the supplier to change the compactors
- Validate and correct the finished products leaving the different production units in the WMS
- Support the operators in their daily tasks
- Maintain a clean work environment

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma (DES) or any other experience related to the position
- Experience in the manufacturing sector (asset)
- Inventory management skills
- Experience or ability to work with computers
- Ability to take on physical work, comfortable lifting up to 20kg
- Knowledge of WHMIS (asset)
- Forklift card (mandatory)

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
