PML Field Service Ltd, is currently seeking experienced geotechnical and geoenvironmental drillers and assistantdrillers for Southern Ontario drilling operations. Base locations in Toronto and Hamilton.

Successful applicants for the experienced driller’s position will be expected to:

- Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be familiar with CME, Dietrich and Geoprobe drill rigs.
- Responsibly carry out drilling tasks in accordance with client requirements, site conditions and safety and relevant regulations.
- Transport drill rigs, including determining project specific tooling, loading, unloading and load securement.
- Train driller’s assistants.
- Complete daily logs and timesheets.
- Complete regular maintenance of drilling equipment and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Liaise with Client Project Managers.
- Be familiar with Ontario Regulation 903, MECP Well Technician’s license preferred
- Possess a valid DZ driver’s licence with clean driver’s abstract. AZ licence preferred.

Successful applicants for the Driller’s Assistants position will be expected to:

- Assisting in drilling operations, including loading, unloading and load securement.
- Assist will drill setup and maintenance.
- Handle drill tooling, equipment and supplies.
- Possess a valid driver’s licence with clean driver’s abstract. DZ or AZ licence preferred.

All successful applicants will possess the following characteristics:

- Good physical stamina.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime and out of town.
- Must work well with others, and be reliable, punctual and adaptable.

Positions are full time. Salary dependent on experience, licensing and other qualifications. Starting salary for drillers between $28 and $35 per hour. Salary for assistants between $20 and $25 per hour.
