**SUMMARY**

The Mix Plant Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the main mixer in creating and maintaining our inventory of in-house mixes. This position emphasizes physically demanding tasks, particularly the manual handling and bagging of products.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in various tasks on the mixing line, including adding ingredients to the blender as per recipes, operating machinery, and packaging/palletizing products.
- _**Manually lift and carry packaged dry ingredients (up to 20/25 kg) from pallets to the blender.**_
- _**Handle heavy objects regularly, performing tasks like bagging and dumping, with frequent standing, squatting, and kneeling for up to 8 hours daily.**_
- Occasionally climb stairs and perform miscellaneous duties such as sweeping, clean-up, garbage removal, sample collection, forklift operation, and inventory monitoring.
- Participate in safety and quality initiatives, including traceability documentation, committee meetings, and trainings.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing and Sanitation practices.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift certification (electric pallet jack, high reach, & counterbalance) is preferred.
- _**Physically fit, capable of handling heavy objects (20/25 kg) frequently.**_
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, policies, operating instructions, and manufacturing orders.
- Competent in writing routine reports, performing calculations, and following detailed instructions.
- Problem-solving abilities in non-standardized situations.
