Ottawa, Canada Apollo Property Management Full time

Amongst other duties this position will be responsible for the following responsibilities:_
- Reports to the Property Manager;
- Supervises the team and helps efficiently maintain the property;
- Performs cleaning duties, minor interior and exterior repairs, regular building inspections, oversees the proper functioning of equipment
- Responds to owner/ resident requests/complaints in a courteous, friendly, prompt and professional manner;
- Supervises outside contractors working on site, ensures scope of work is being completed, reviews and reports to the Property Manager when work is finalized;
- Maintains and checks building logs
- Maintains suitable inventory of building maintenance and cleaning supplies;
- Promotes and maintains site safety and security;
- Performs any other duties as directed by the Property Manager.
- Qualifications and Experience:_
- High School Diploma;
- Minimum 3 - 5 years related experience in a maintenance or superintendent role correcting and resolving various problems related to water, lighting, HVAC and other systems;
- Microsoft Office skills;
- Experience working onsite in a supervisor role;
- Knowledge of construction execution, supervision and best practices;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Willingness to take initiative, work in a team environment and possess a strong work ethic;
- Excellent customer service and a good understanding of onsite safety measures;
- Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects (up to 50lbs for cleaning and maintenance purposes).
