Barrhead and District Social Housing Association provides safe, affordable, quality housing for the well-being and independence of residents and tenants.

We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Part-Time Activities Assistant. Hours of work are typically 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (Hours and Days of the week may vary depending on activities scheduled)

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Activities Manager, this position is responsible for assisting the Activities Manager in developing and implementing an effective activities program for the residents of association.

Qualifications:

- Public Relations and Communication Skills
- Ability to Teach and Lead with Activities
- First Aid, CPR, PowerPoint, Word and Sound System
- Must keep affairs of the Association confidential. Must keep resident information confidential.
- Clean criminal record check

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting/Encouraging Participation in Events and Activities
- Participation in Events and Activities should be Fun and Enthusiastic
- Knowledge of Activities that are to take place in future
- Respects resident’s opinions, judgments, and abilities
- Perform All Duties as assigned by CAO, Activities Manager and Facility Manager
- Able to lift up to 50lbs

Duties
- Setup and Clean up of Activities
- Be participant in Resident Games
- Errands Pick-up and Delivery when assigned
- Commencement of Events and Activities when assigned
- Assisting Activities Manager when assigned
- Any other tasks as required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.50 per hour
