Collaborate with members of the Governance and Policy team to support business unit policy leads in creating, reviewing and updating City policies and standards according to the City¿s policy programs
- Undertake specific initiatives in the following areas: creating and reviewing training and tools, document editing, data preparation and analysis
- Support team initiatives through targeted research, technical writing, business analysis, communication, and project management support. Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Diploma or Degree in Public Policy, Social Science, Political Science, Business Management or a related area.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Success in this position requires building relationship, problem solving, results oriented and customer focus skills, as well as experience in one or more of the following: report writing, technical writing, archival research, data analysis and critical thinking. Teamwork and independent projects will be required. Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
