CNC Setup Technician

General Duties:
To support CNC Programmers in set-up and operation of CNC Machinery. Willingness to wear multiple hats and be a team player in a fast-paced startup environment. This is Hourly full time position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and Operate Multi axis CNC machines with dial guage and or with Probe
- Align Fixtures
- Make adjustment to Tool offset, cutting speed and feeds when required
- Ensure continuous & Most efficient operation of CNC Machines
- Ensure effective production of quality parts by completing final checks using gauges and measuring equipment
- Clean Machines, Organize Tools and maintain CNC Machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other instructions
- Maintain shop equipment to ensure they are working safely and per manufacturer specification
- Assist with product development activities including sample making
- Works on special projects as directed by the management team.
- Contributes to team effort by taking on added tasks as required.
- Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of all data
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety meetings
- Lead and maintain a safe, secure, enjoyable professional working environment.

Qualifications:

- College Diploma in Technical discipline Preferred
- Preferred experience with Set up and Operations of CNC Machines
- Experience in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Experience operating Manual Mill and Lathe will be an asset
- Experience in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy weights
- Attention to details and reporting activities
- Self-motivating with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and problem solve

Typical working conditions:

- Schedule may change depending on business requirements. Monday to Friday days or afternoon or nights, or Continental day shift.
- Manufacturing plant with continuous interaction on manufacturing floor where PPE is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
