**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Delivery Driver Lead Hand to join our team in **Burford,**on the **afternoon shift.** In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of fuel, propane and lubricants while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. The Driver Lead Hand will support operations with oversight on training and mentorship of our driver team, support during vacation periods, support as required with monthly health and safety meetings, job observations, site inspections and truck maintenance or incident investigations. - Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk products to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
- Inventory control of bulk products on truck
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customers’ needs
- Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed from the truck
- Assist with coordination of truck maintenance including movement of trucks and drivers, including administrative support
- Completes customer site inspections as required and completes required paperwork
- Support the Operation with oversight of training requirements, mentoring drivers, and providing feedback on progress to Operations Manager.
- Incident Investigation as requested by Health and Safety and Operations Manager.
- Perform other duties as requested by your manager.

- Minimum 5-year driving experience with a **valid** **DZ** **license**:

- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills along with the desire to be a team player
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
- Solid time management and organization skills, including the ability to effectively plan schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Previous Supervisor or Managerial role experience and asset.
