Benchmark Commodities Ltd. is a **privately held group of companies** within the Canadian western provinces that import and export commodities. We supply a variety of cereals and feeds to agricultural producers. **Benchmark is unique** to this sector due to its “one-stop shop” ability to purchase commodities, sell, transport, and deliver to customers across provincial borders including Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. In addition to transporting commodities via Railway, Benchmark has a trucking fleet for transporting Livestock. The corporate head office is based in Ponoka, Ab. We are currently looking for an individual that has the following qualifications to maintain our fleet and shop/office building:
**WHAT IS THE JOB**

Diagnose and minor repair on transport truck and trailer issues

Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per manufacturer & company policy.

Change Oil, filters and ability to grease equipement.

Coordinate with outside repairs and parts suppliers and parts running when required

Maintain an inventory of parts and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs

Maintain a clean shop environment (ride-on sweeper), equipment, and tools

Perform minor maintenance on 46,000 sq. ft. shop and office building

Lawnmowing summer (ride on) and snow removal (skid steer)

Clearly communicate all maintenance and building issues with management

Keep track of all work performed with accurate records

**Assets**

Ability to run equipment (tractors, skid steer, mowers, etc.) required

Class 5 minimum or Class 3 or 1 preferred

Agriculture experience is an asset

Safety Certificates preferred but not required

Strong oral and written communication skills required
