On behalf of our client here in Vancouver,
** Ignite Technical Resources **is looking for a
**Patient Portal Lead** for a
**contract opportunity.**

**Role**: Patient portals help to provide the seamless care for patients, where they can potentially self-schedule their multiple appointments, get reminders and notifications and have two way messaging with their providers. A key component of this project is to align and integrate with existing developments, so applicants will need to be familiar with initiatives within British Columbia and develop critical working relationships with teams and other systems.

**Services Required**:
1) Leadership, Coordination, management, and reporting on all aspects of the project/implementation:

- Reporting includes weekly status reporting, weekly project planning updates, and ad hoc reporting.
- Risk, issue, dependency management to ensure the critical path of the implementation is followed and milestones stay on track.

2) Assessment and Planning:
Assess patient engagement needs and existing tech.
- Integrate governance for this project with existing governance structures to ensure exceptional representation and alignment, integrating into provincial structures but also with BC Cancer.
- Define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Deliver: Scope document, assessment report, project plan.

3) Finalize Requirements and Integration:

- Take existing requirements, validate them and ensure there is fulsome representation.
- Define portal features for technical integration.
- Deliver: Requirements documentation, user interface mock-ups and integration plans.

4) Solution Selection:

- Follow procurement processes to find the best portal solution.
- Enable and drive for appropriate engagement in the solution selection.

5) 4. Deliver solution:

- Build team and structure to successfully deploy the solution.
- Implement solutions following the best possible practices.

**Specific Qualifications or Experience Required**:
Experience with Healthcare IT Implementations preferred, Oncology care and engagement experience preferred, Experience with senior and executive level audiences, strong facilitation, collaboration, and leadership skills, senior level project management required. Also experience with setting up operational processes, transition to operations and project turnover processes an asset.

- User adoption strategy expertise.

4. Communication:

- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.

5. Data Security:

6. Risk Management:

- Effective risk identification and mitigation.

7. Reporting:

- Clear project impact assessment.

8. Documentation:

- Comprehensive project records management.

9. Certifications:

- PMP or equivalent preferred
