If you are passionate about managing purchases, finding the best deals, and building lasting relationships with suppliers, join our dynamic team as a Supplies and Equipment Buyer. Discover a world of opportunities to optimize purchases, reduce costs, and ensure efficient procurement The incumbent is responsible for researching and selecting suppliers, negotiating business agreements, and procuring the necessary supplies and equipment for the company’s operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assess the various suppliers’ capabilities, prices, and services to make the best selection based on the needs identified.
- Negotiate the terms and conditions with suppliers for the purchase of supplies, materials, and equipment in order to obtain the best of the market, taking into account volume, quality, and delivery times.
- Optimize the use of the company’s capital by establishing the right inventory levels.
- Develop inventory management improvement strategies.
- Work with different teams to manage the integration of new supplies as well as obsolescence of the discarded ones.
- Check and ensure the accuracy of the invoices after receiving merchandise.
- Enter orders in accordance with purchase procedures and supplier contract regulations.
- Check inventory levels daily and replenish as required (release of orders).

**Desired Profile**
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a purchasing-related field.
- Have two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills and be autonomous.
- Have experience in commercial negotiations and analysis.
- Take a proactive approach for identifying problems and implementing immediate solutions.
- Be able to communicate effectively with the various English and French suppliers, both spoken and written.
