**About the IT Client Services Technician Role**:
Reporting to the Manager, Help and Support, the IT Client Services Technician supports the delivery of various technical services to Humber’s students, employees, suppliers, and guests.

**Education**
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related studies or equivalent relevant experience.
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations certification from a recognized authority.
- HDI Desktop Support Technician certification or relevant training and/or experience.

**Experience/Skills**

Minimum of three years of related work experience providing technical support in a busy high-volume environment to Clients with diverse backgrounds, preferably in academic environment.
- Experience providing software and hardware technical support on MS Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android devices.
- Fundamental understanding of the Information Technology industry and technology solutions including hardware, software, licensing and services.
- Proven superior customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to provide clear verbal and written direction to various technical personnel and teams.
- Must demonstrate problem solving, creative thinking and analytical skills.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Work well under pressure.
