We are hiring a **Co-op and Work** **Placement Coordinator** to join our Brampton campus.
**What You Will Do**
- Overseeing the co-op and placement programs, delivering workshops and student consultations.
- Maintaining documentation, online learning platform, databases, assignments and monitoring student co-op work permits
- Developing and maintaining a contact list of employers or businesses for practical and co-op and field placement training for students at Brampton Campus;
- Providing career guidance and support to students through resume consulting, mock interviews, and career planning
- Preparing students for their practical courses prior to their practical training;
- Handing out and collecting required documents and forms to placement employers;
- Supervising students’ training at the practicum and ensuring the course curriculum is being followed;
- Conducting placement courses and implementing related curriculum as required;
- Grading assignments, presentations and provide feedback
- Compiling supplementary teaching materials, undertaking audio or video recordings and other work as may be requested related to the courses;
- Instructing, supervising, and conducting optional activities related to the delivery of Co-op and Career Services goals and objectives;
- Fulfilling other administrative duties assigned.
**What You Will Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a postsecondary educational institution is an asset.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Knowledge of co-op and placement best practices
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team player with a client-centric mindset and positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
