**Job Overview**

Regional Janitorial and Maintenance is ready to inspire a Maintenance Associate in our expansion of evolving maintenance projects in the Greater Toronto Area. Reporting to the VP Operations, the Maintenance Associate’s primary accountability is balancing the execution of maintenance projects, continuous quality assurance and client services.

**Salary**: $23.00/hr to $27.00/hr

**Employment Types**: Full-time and Part-time, permanent

**Work Schedule**:

- Up to 44 hours per week.
- Evening shifts (typically 6pm-2am), between Wednesday to Sunday..

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead by example; join our Operations Manager and VP Operations in preparing, cleaning, and maintaining client facilities.
- Move materials and equipment and perform demolition, excavation, and compaction activities.
- Review and execute maintenance project deliverables with the Team according to the specifications and schedule.
- Handle and distribute construction materials.
- Foster and promote a positive and safe work culture.
- Ensure that services are performed according to service specifications and scheduling while exceeding client expectations.
- Actively and consistently collaborate in health and safety, security and cleanliness initiatives.
- Maintain and use a variety of cleaning and maintenance equipment and tools.
- Assist the Operations Manager/VP Operations with the logistics of project materials.

**Job Requirements**
- A minimum of 3 years of maintenance, janitorial or custodial experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Professional working proficiency of the English language.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
- Self-drive in meeting project deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations.
- Positive, professional, safety oriented and client-centric attitude.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to commute with the Operations Manager to multiple project sites within the Greater Toronto Area in one shift.
- Proven experience as a collaborative Team player.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, stand for long periods and lift and work with materials up to 55 lbs.
- Participate and contribute to ongoing learning and development programs onsite and through Regional’s online platform.
- Ability to work overtime hours and according to schedules that meet the needs of Regional's evolving projects such as evenings and weekends.
- Posses a clear Canadian Criminal Background.
