**Responsibilities and/or willing to learn**:

- Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings and specifications.
- Following strict methods and procedures.
- Drilling and cutting holes for electrical power devices and instrumentation.
- Mounting and wiring of electrical devices, terminal blocks, power supplies, circuit breakers and instrumentation in the panel.
- Route wires/cables through panels and terminate at terminal strips.
- Stripping wire to length and crimping connectors.
- Soldering connectors.
- Assembling harness and cables.
- Properly use tools and equipment to assemble comments into panels.
- Deciding when additional materials are needed in order to complete the required work.
- Ensuring a high quality of work by inspecting assembled items and performing simple testing procedures for compliance to standards and drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical panels and rectify issues. Not required but is an asset.
- Assist co-workers as needed to complete projects and assigned tasks.
- Work independently as required.
- Ensures safe work practices of equipment are used at all times.
- Keep equipment and working area organized, clean and safe.
- All other related tasks as required.

**Other responsibilities will include**:

- Weekly shop clean up.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in wiring electrical panels - Not required but is an asset.
- Strong communication (written & verbal in English language).
- Must work well with others and within a team environment.
- Ability to organize work under project deadline constraints.
- Reporting to Team Leaders and Operations Manager.
- Must be detailed orientated and strive to build a quality product.
- Good hand/ eye co-ordination.

Pay: $17.75-$20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
