This job is a great way to earn some extra income while having fun being involved with the local food industry. This is an ideal position for students, semi-retirees, parents that want to work part-time on weekends, or someone who has a full-time permanent job during the week and wants a secondary weekend income. No experience necessary but past work with farmers markets and/or working in a commercial kitchen is a major plus.

We are looking for an individual to assist us with production, sales, and marketing, and who has the potential to grow with our business as the position could evolve to a full-time role in the summer based on performance and strong sales skills.

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Farmers markets: pick up of materials, set up and operate booth, documenting results
- Production: Assisting with production of products
- Miscellaneous administrative activities such as attending additional events or demos, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Must be available to work weekends
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Outgoing personality to represent the brand well at events
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Neat, friendly and professional mannerism
- Driver’s Licence (Minimum Class 5)
- Clean driving record
- Availability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs of equipment
- Spanish language skills an asset
- This position requires a flexible schedule, initiative, leadership and problem-solving skills and being able to think and make decisions quickly. The individual must be highly motivated, reliable, punctual, trustworthy and able to work autonomously with mínimal supervision._
- This position will be based on an hourly wage of $20 + monthly commission based on market sales._

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 24 per week
