We are a family owned and run Market & Bistro located on our farm in Pitt Meadows. We are looking for more team members that are passionate about supporting local products and offering our customers the best service and selection.

We currently have an opening for an energetic and positive new team member to join our Deli team as a Front Deli Clerk.

This position is a part time position with the potential of leading to full time work in the future.

**Salary**: From $17.40 per hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare food for customers, including slicing deli meats and cheeses, making fresh deli salads and grab n go options. Creating charcuterie boards and customized deli platters.
- We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. Having a flair for creativity and a desire to showcase our local and made in house products is key
- You must be able to follow safety guidelines when operating deli equipment including but limited to meat slicer, utensils & the deli display case. Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and company policies. A heightened awareness for cleanliness and organization is a MUST.
- Throughout the day while serving customers you are responsible for ensuring that the deli display cases are organized and fully stocked with fresh food. A passion for salesmanship is important.
- Ability to create eye catching displays considered an asset.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Retail Customer service experience
- Positive and upbeat
- High level of communication skills and be able to work as a team
- Must be available to work Saturdays OR Sundays
- Shifts will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and/or 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
