Sunflower DevelopmentalServices is looking for a devotedsupport workers that are comfortable working with the vulnerable sector. Must be commited,dedicated and able to multi task and work independently. Must be able to work with all ages. This is a volunteer position (UNPAID)

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Daily programming & implementation of activities, as well as daily routines. IE. Feeding/ Changing
- Role modeling for and encouraging communication from clients
- Help develop and maintain the program (Odd Jobs)
- Implementing Life & social skills with clients (Assisting with routines)
- Experience in forming and maintaining relationships with families and other support persons.
- Ability and desire to be active and mobile within the community.
- Curriculum and events planning/ implementation & fundraising
- Develping new programs and improving existing ones
- Ensuring the safety of all clients
- Ensuring clients needs are met daily
- Ability to work co
- operatively as part of a support team
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the program according to protocol
- Display positive attitude an approach towards persons with disabilities

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

**We will train**

Worked with individuals with developmental needs in some capacity

Valid V.S.S. Check, C.P.R. & First Aid Certification, C.P.I. Or equivalent

Ability to respond to various job requirements

Excellent communication, written & organization skills

**Preferred Skills**

Organized, motivated, self
- starter, enthusiastic, able to work with mínimal supervision

**Additional Notes**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$37.90 per hour
