**St. John Council for Ontario (SJCO) is a voluntary agency dedicated to improving the health, safety and quality of life of Canadians through training and community service. We are currently seeking a confident, energetic Community Services Coordinator to join our Eastern Ontario Region.**
**Essential Duties**:
- Provide support to St. John Ambulance community services programs in the areas of volunteer recruitment, screening, training and recognition
- Provide administrative support to community service programs where required including event management and volunteer records
- Develop and coordinate special events, public relations and the marketing of community service units and volunteer opportunities
- Assist with public and corporate displays to educate and inform about St. John Ambulance
- Provide direction and support to fundraising and community relations initiatives
- In collaboration with all stakeholders, purchase required resources for Community service units
- All other duties as assigned
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE**:
- Post-secondary education in related discipline (Volunteer Management, Office Administration, Marketing, Public Relations)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (D365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Demonstrated strong communication skills both oral and written
- University or College degree or equivalent post-secondary education or equivalent education and/or work experience preferred
**Other**
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
