**Overview**:
As an Application Support Analyst for Capital Markets, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our complex trading systems. You will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our traders, quants, and other business users.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Incident Management**:
- Respond to and resolve incidents, including system outages, performance issues, and software failures.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.
- Coordinate with development teams to implement fixes and prevent future occurrences.
- ** Problem Management**:
- Analyze recurring incidents to identify trends and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles to document solutions and best practices.
- ** Change Management**:
- Participate in the change management process, including testing and deployment of new software releases.
- Assess the impact of changes on production systems and coordinate with other teams to minimize disruption.
- ** Monitoring and Alerting**:
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Configure and maintain monitoring tools to generate alerts for critical events.
- ** User Support**:
- Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting software issues, answering questions, and training users on new features.
- ** Vendor Management**:
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve issues and escalate problems as needed.
- ** Documentation**:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including system configuration, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in the following:
- Strong understanding of capital markets products and processes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) and SQL.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification in ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
Languages: French, English.
Required: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with US-based colleagues and partners.

- Résoudre les problèmes techniques complexes et identifier les causes profondes.
- Coordonner avec les équipes de développement pour mettre en œuvre des correctifs et prévenir les occurrences futures.
- Gestion des problèmes:
- Analyser les incidents récurrents pour identifier les tendances et mettre en œuvre des mesures préventives.
- Élaborer et tenir à jour des articles de la base de connaissances pour documenter les solutions et les meilleures pratiques.
- Gestion des changements:
- Participer au processus de gestion des changements, y compris les tests et le déploiement de nouvelles versions de logiciels.
- Évaluer l'impact des changements sur les systèmes de production et coordonner avec d'autres équipes pour minimiser les perturbations.
- Surveillance et alerte:
- Surveiller les performances du système et identifier de manière proactive les problèmes potentiels.

**Qualifications**:
- Baccalauréat en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.
