Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your expertise in carpentry will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build structures or components
- Install cabinets, siding, trim wor, windows etc
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures
- Perform construction painting and caulking as needed
- Inspect and ensure the quality of finished work
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- willing to work during the week in Victoria, Tofino, Richmond, Burnaby, Kelowna, Kamloops
- can run a small crew and complete work on their own.
- work alongside project managers

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to carpentry work
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

**Skills**:

- Proficient in carpentry techniques such as framing, finishing, and cabinetry
- Experience with cabinet installation and repair
- Familiarity with siding installation methods
- Ability to build structures from scratch based on specifications
- Skill in caulking joints for weatherproofing and finishing
- very high attention to detail

Pay: $40.00-$68.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 65 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
