**Workplace**:
Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. That’s why we stood up an in-house advisory committee and implemented new work policies that provide our teams with even more flexibility, no matter where they live. **Our expectations**:
Within a context of organizational change, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will advise managers at Lowe’s Canada’s head office, in Boucherville, and take part in various projects regarding human resource management in order to support Lowe’s Canada’s strategic plans.
The incumbent will be responsible for advising and proactively supporting managers with the following tasks:
- Involve in the organizational development in order to support the supply chain transformation;
- The consideration, analysis, and implementation (with other Centres of Expertise) of key organizational processes and development opportunities;
- Performance and development management;
- Workforce and succession planning; and
- Change management for various strategic projects.
**Your role**:
- Support supply chain Vice-presidents and provide strategic advice on the organization’s structure and change management in a transformation environment
- In collaboration with the training team, develop onboarding plan, revise roles & responsibilities amongst the supply chain team and support a RACI exercise
- Contribute to human resources strategic planning to support business goals and objectives to contribute to business performance & results
- Establish a solid, proactive, and flexible business relationship with managers and employees to properly understand their issues and challenges and support their professional growth
- Provide strategic advice on performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Work in collaboration with various HR Centres of Expertise and cross-functional teams to ensure the organization and client’s HR needs are met
- Actively contribute to the deployment and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and procedures, as well as working conditions
- Manage the investigation process for complaints regarding the sector of activity
- Work with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit for vacant positions and, if applicable, recommend salary adjustments according to the organization’s standards and policies
- Participate in any other projects that contribute to achievement of corporate goals
- Perform any other related tasks
**The qualifications we are looking for**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field.
- Diploma in organizational development (an asset)
- CHRP member (an asset)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in similar roles within a national, large-scale organization.
- Good judgment, initiative, autonomy, and discretion.
- Adaptability and ability to manage priorities.
- Action and customer-oriented approach combined with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships of trust and influence others.
- Proficiency in an advisory role and ability to adapt to unexpected and changing situations.
- Strong people skills and maturity.
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
