We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual who has previous pump, field related knowledge or interested in learning our industry. This position will work closely with suppliers & customers, respond to requests for quotations, sourcing, request pricing from suppliers, expediting, shipping and receiving.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers at front counter
- Source and request pricing for materials allocated to service orders
- Request pricing for new inventory items, and update pricing on existing items when we receive a price increase.
- Process Purchase Requisitions and purchase orders, confirm purchase orders, and update system accordingly.
- Utilizing system generated report, track what purchased orders are expected to arrive for the week and expedite when required.
- Utilizing system generated re-order report and sales history data, determine other items to add to purchase order to take advantage of prepaid freight minimum.
- Receive and put away inventory in allocated location, updated location in system if required.
- Ship customer orders, or call to advise their order is ready for pickup
- Assist with Inventory spot counts, and annual inventory
- Assist with processing customer orders
- Assist with customer quotations
- Assist with writing up incoming jobs, take photos, and notify customer of pricing and when job is complete
- Utilizing product knowledge assist customers with pump selection to provide them with the best solution possible, it’s important to ask all of the required information at initial contact.
- Identify customer needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
- Attend training sessions to improve product knowledge and/or job skills
- Assist with marketing initiatives, identify, qualify and capture new accounts
- Other duties as assigned

**Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Communication Skills, oral and written
- Able to multi task
- Detail oriented
- Time Management Skills
- Computer literate (Business Visions or Spire Systems experience an asset)
- Mechanically inclined, Pump knowledge an asset

Applicants who have previous experience in the hydronics or pump industry or fields of water treatment, plumbing, heating, electrical motors or Electrical would be a huge asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

- purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
