**We are looking for a General Clerk/Cashier to work in multiple departments to join our Hope Downtown location in Hope, BC. Departments include grocery and front-end cashier.**

**Open availability is preferred.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting every customer.
- Ensure the department is well stocked and presented with the freshest products.
- Accurately price and label products.
- Share product knowledge and recommendations with customers.
- Assist customers with product requests and special orders.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
- Clean equipment and workstation to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Retail or customer service experience is considered an asset.

**Compensation Details**:
$18.00 - $24.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
