Kelly Santini is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join a dynamic accounting team. If you are seeking an opportunity to advance your career, this role may be ideal for you. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Supervisor will be the primary point of contact for all day-to-day accounting oversight. This includes overseeing the accounting team in their daily tasks, providing excellent customer service to our internal legal teams and clients, while maintaining control over financial reporting. Salary level is commensurate with experience, health benefits and pension matching are provided.

**Specific Duties of the Role**:

- Work alongside the Director of Finance in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets and forecasting.
- Review and approve trust and general journal entries, A/R and A/P entries, EFT and wire transactions.
- Assist with the month end, quarterly and year end processes including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports and aiding with any external audits.
- Supervise and support accounting team through full-cycle accounting; Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations, invoicing, A/R collection, A/P processing, and reporting.
- Manage Law Society and insurance filings and compliance.
- Process remittances, HST filing, corporate tax payments, personal tax payments, employer tax filing etc.
- Coordinate special projects when needed, such as implementing new processes, updating software, overseeing major office projects (office renovations, firmwide recordkeeping changes, etc.).

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Experience within Accounting / Finance roles
- Desire to supervise, review the work of others and provide guidance
- Legal industry experience an asset.
- Capable of working independently without supervision and be able to prioritize competing workloads.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles, controls, banking and financial implications.
- Business acumen and proficiency with technology.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Able to interact with staff, peers, and senior leadership competently and lead a team effectively.

**Salary**: From $75,000.00 per year
