**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a **Product QA Specialist** to join our dynamic Product team. In this entry-level role, you will help ensure our software functions as expected by identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and contributing to a seamless user experience. You’ll play a critical role in supporting smooth product development by handling quality assurance, organizing feedback, and improving internal processes. This is an internally focused, non-technical position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure and efficiency to a growing team. This role also offers an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development, with a focus on learning both manual testing and QA best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Manual Testing**: Execute manual test cases based on provided documentation, ensuring the software performs as expected in various scenarios.
- **Bug Identification**: Regularly test software to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas of improvement. Ensure thorough testing of features before and after changes.
- **Bug Reporting**: Report issues using our company’s issue tracking system.
- **Regression Testing**: Re-run tests for features after updates to ensure new changes don’t break existing functionality.
- **User Perspective**: Spend time understanding the software from an end-user’s point of view to identify potential usability issues.
- **Communication**: Collaborate with the Product Manager, UX Designer, Developers, and Support team to improve overall product quality.
- **Continuous Learning**: Seek feedback from product team members and developers to improve the accuracy and thoroughness of testing processes.
- **Copywriting Assistance**: Assist in refining and improving in-app copy to ensure clarity and consistency.
- **User Feedback**: Support in conducting user feedback sessions, including gathering input from beta testers to identify areas for improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who can take initiative and proactively solve problems.
- A passion for delivering high-quality software and improving user experience.
**Bonus Skills (Nice to have)**
- Experience in product operations, quality assurance, or a similar role in a SaaS or technology-driven environment is a plus.
- Experience using tools like Figma, Asana, Github, or other project management software.
- Familiarity with customer feedback tools like Intercom or Zendesk.
- Basic knowledge of UX principles and usability testing.
