Parts Advisor

Mountain Pacific Mechanical Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Truck Parts Advisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity to join a family-oriented business known for its excellent work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fulfill customer orders for parts and accessories
- Maintain accurate inventory stock levels
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate pricing and discounts
- Research market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive pricing strategies
- Utilize Excel or other software to track and analyze sales data
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Provide exceptional customer service and phone etiquette

Shift Options:

- 4x12 Night Shift Tuesday-Friday 3pm-3am
- 4x12 Wednesday to Saturday Day Shift 7am-7pm

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions -Coordinate and
- Effectively communicate with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs - Utilize Fullbay software for parts tickets, invoicing, and other administrative tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues in a professional manner

**Requirements**:
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a similar role
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Fullbay software preferred
- Experience in the trucking parts industry is highly recommended - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be a team player and work well with others
- Previous experience in a parts advisor role or similar position preferred
- Knowledge of auto body repair, tire service, air brake, oil change, diesel engine repair, aligning, transmitting, brake repair, and suspension systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively explain technical information to customers
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Salary**: $24.00-$36.00 per hour
