The Hotel Grand Pacific is recruiting a Reservations & Revenue Manager to join its team. Located on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, we are a proud member of the Preferred Hotels and Resorts collection. A full-time position, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive reservations experience and great management skills to lead a team to deliver the highest quality of service and sell wonderful experiences at our luxury property.

**Description of Duties**:

- Manage a well-planned & organized Reservations & Service Preferred Department
- Maximize occupancy & average daily rate through employee signature training
- Manage the operation of Reservations & Service Preferred
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategies for Reservations & Service Preferred that support achievement of the hotel’s goals
- Effectively address employee and guest concerns
- Recruit and train staff with planned orientation and ongoing organized training
- Provide effective leadership to all employees
- Manage the scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluation of department employees
- Prepare a yearly budget
- Develop and maintain effective communication on all levels

**Qualifications and Abilities**:

- 5 years’ Reservations or Front Office experience with 3 years of Management experience, ideally in a union environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with revenue management and previous experience with group bookings and contracts, extranet/inventory management and rate loading
- Proven problem-solving skills
- A motivating attitude with proven experience leading and developing teams to achieve 5-star service
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiar with Opera configuration & package building
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with a typing speed of over 50 wpm
- Hospitality University Degree or Diploma strongly preferred
