We are currently looking for a Mixer Operator to join our organization. This individual must be hard working, flexible and reliable. We offer competitive compensation, benefits and a team-focused environment. The facility has limited Calgary Transit accessibility, therefore having your own transportation would be a strong asset.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Scale all ingredients according to recipes
- Cut, weigh, scale, measure and place dough in mixers
- Fill mixers with pre-measured ingredients in correct sequence
- Monitor and maintain the correct size, color and weight of various products as set out by our formula specifications
- Troubleshooting dough as you mix is critical - adding ingredients and accounting for variables such as moisture and temperature to ensure product quality specifications are met
- Keeping the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use
- Follow all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and have a good understanding for GMPs.

- Solid mathematical skills to help bring our recipes to life in the bakery

- Previous mixing or baking experience in a commercial bakery plant is a great asset
- Willingness to learn and continually improve knowledge and skills
- Basic level computer skills
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Strong team player with a high level of initiative and integrity
- Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to “quickly think on their feet”.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Dependability and reliability; demonstration of regular and punctual attendance

**Working Conditions**
- Indoor industrial work setting
- Shift time may have variable hours given the nature of the business and the need to respond quickly to customer orders
- Requires physical exertion and strength including standing for long periods of time and lifting 30-50 pounds

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
