**CDI Furniture** is a Montreal based company specializing in imports of home furnishings and accessories. CDI Furniture strives to provide its customers with well-designed and quality products at a fair price, while maintaining first-rate customer service from its sales force and in-house team. - Maintaining banking relationships, including providing all required reports on a timely basis; - Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the company and related companies including inter-company reconciliations; - Preparing and providing financial documents for year-end statement reviews and income taxes; - Preparing monthly cash flows, reflecting analyzed business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide financial advice; - Developing, maintaining, and analyzing budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs; - Implementation of and adherence to a rigorous expense spending control; - Development and follow-up of a management dashboard including key performance indicators; - Participate actively in an anticipated ERP implementation; - Review annual insurance renewals; - Preparing payroll, preparing and submitting deductions at source and sales taxes and all other monthly, quarterly and annual reporting or documentation; - Managing "open to buy" inventory process; - Oversee day to day activities of accounting support staff; - Ensure that the accounts payable/receivable are properly allocated, paid and collected promptly; - Review monthly reconciliation of bank statements, credit card statements, and expense reports ensuring they are done in a timely fashion, and financial discrepancies are analyzed and corrected; - Duty drawback reporting is maintained and remitted within allocated timeframes. - Inventory analysis, reporting and purchasing are done based on established company guidelines and within timelines; **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree business / accounting required - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience - A CPA designation is an asset - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French - Exceptional time and financial management skills required ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while working on multiple files - Experience in working with multiple cross-border entities is an asset - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Accounting Software **Salary commensurate with experience** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year Schedule: - 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
