**Position Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Wheel Loader Snow Plow Operator to join our winter operations team. This is a seasonal, part-time role running from late October through the end of April, with the potential to transition into a full-time, year-round position for strong performers. The operator plays a crucial role in keeping large commercial and high-traffic properties safe and accessible during snow events. The role primarily involves operating a Wacker Neuson WL-52 hydraulic wing blade, following designated routes, and using a phone-based software system for communication and route tracking.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate a wheel loader with wing blade snow plow to efficiently remove snow from large parking lots, access roads, and other commercial areas.
- Follow assigned plow routes and adapt to varying site conditions to maintain high service standards.
- Use a phone-based dispatch and reporting system to receive assignments, track progress, and communicate with the operations team.
- Conduct pre
- and post-shift inspections of the loader, blade, and other attachments to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Work overnight during snow events, typically on **12-hour shifts**, and respond promptly to dispatch calls.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Ontario G-Class driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract.
- Previous experience operating a wheel loader, front-end loader, or similar heavy equipment is strongly required.
- Experience with snow plowing or use of wing blades is an asset.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in snowy, icy, and low-visibility conditions.
- Physically able to work in cold winter weather and enter/exit the loader cab as needed.
- Comfortable using smartphone-based software for communication and route tracking.
- Reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work overnight and on-call during storm events.

**Compensation and Growth Opportunities**
