**Responsibilities**:
- Read and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs) in order to complete equipment repairs
- Update and create new SOPs
- Update status of repair orders in relevant trackers
- Read mechanical plans, electrical assembly diagrams and technical data sheets in order to add value to internal repair practices
- Participate in processes (tooling, documentation, processes) for the continuous improvement of assembly and repair methods
- Work together with technical teams to resolve technical ambiguities
- Communicate daily and weekly progress and problems to external customers and stakeholders
- Receive the incoming repair shipments and track their inventory and completion
- Prepare and support the shipment of repairs (including packaging and preparing documentation)
**Experience**:
- Hold a technical college diploma in Electronics
- Have at least 3 years of experience in the assembly or repair of electromechanical components as an Electrical Technician
- Demonstrated experience in surface soldering (SMT)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with testing tools, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated history of taking ownership in your work
- Strong documentation skills
- Data driven - if it can't be measured, it can't be managed
