**REGULAR PART-TIME PHARMACY TECHNICIAN**
**Reports to: Lead Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Manager**
**Job Duties**
- Performs duties, as required, in conjunction with the pharmacists and pharmacy leadership, for the efficient operation of the pharmacy department.
- Travel among sites is required on a regularly scheduled basis.
**Job Qualifications**
- Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
- Registered & Licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience (including sterile compounding) and/or community pharmacy experience preferred
- Previous experience with Cerner systems preferred
- Ability to interact effectively with patients and other health care professionals
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail particularly in the areas of computer order entry, mathematical calculations, IV admixture, compounding, and prescription filling
- Knowledge and experience with pharmacy ordering and inventory
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to change
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and initiative to work independently as an effective team member
- Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated excellence in attendance
- Basic computer skills in a “windows” environment
- Proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella and varicella (chicken pox) or vaccination records and proof of 2 COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Record for Tuberculosis skin testing within the previous 12 months
