**JOB SUMMARY**:
This position is responsible for supporting the purchasing team in the purchase, order and tracking of product shipments as well as maintaining up to date and accurate information in our internal system.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Maintain and update the internal ERP with relevant information regarding Purchase Orders, shipments, and vendor information
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Process and review packing slips
- Process invoices
- Support buyers with Request for Quotations (RFQs) from vendors
- Support the Purchasing Team in daily functions and data entry
- Ensure there is proper flow of documents and information between purchasing and other departments
- Additional job duties as assigned
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE**:
- Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word programs)
- Supply Chain Management or Purchasing Management knowledge would be an asset but not a requirement
