**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Manage inventory of food supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation to minimize waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and safety practices.
- Monitor food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency across all dishes served.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations related to food handling.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
