Graphic Design & Marketing Assistant

**The Role**

This is a dynamic, hands-on role blending **graphic design and creative marketing**at a mission-driven company that’s steadily growing. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO, taking ownership of engaging visuals, product and packaging design, and marketing campaigns across digital newsletters, social media, and partnerships.

**What You’ll Do**
- Create and edit marketing graphics, promotional visuals, and digital assets for social media, newsletters, website, ads, and seasonal campaigns.
- Edit product and lifestyle photos/videos for use across campaigns and our online store.
- Assist with product and packaging design, lookbooks, and other print materials.
- Design, write, and schedule engaging Klaviyo newsletters.
- Curate and schedule content for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest; assist with planning posts and stories.
- Coordinate influencer collaborations, brand exchanges, and seasonal promotions.
- Update Shopify with product photos, descriptions, and user experience elements.
- Ensure all designs and communications align with Scoria’s brand identity and values.
- Work closely with the CEO on creative concepts and campaign planning.
- Maintain an organized library of creative files, brand assets, and templates.
- Learn and adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and marketing strategies.
- Support cohesive rollout of marketing campaigns across all channels.
- Take on other creative and marketing duties as needed in a fast-paced, growing team.

**What We’re Looking For**
- 2+ years of **graphic design experience** (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator required; Canva and other Adobe Suite tools a plus).
- Strong foundation in design principles: typography, color, layout, and composition.
- Ability to adapt to Scoria’s **mínimal, playful, earthy, and imaginative brand style**.
- Skills in photo and video editing for marketing or social media content.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, with an eye on current trends.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with clear systems for managing creative assets.
- Excellent communicator and collaborative team player.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and energized by a **fast-paced start-up environment**.
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility as the role evolves.
