For the past 85 years, Kawartha Dairy has been proud to be a 100% Canadian-owned company, still operated by the same family that founded it in 1937. Although the company has grown tremendously from its early days, it remains headquartered in the lakeside community of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, where it was founded, near Peterborough, an hour north of the GTA.

Today Kawartha Dairy operates 10 retail stores and services a wide range of customers, from grocery stores to foodservice establishments and of course, ice cream parlours.

Reflecting the explosive growth in the brand and the business as a whole, Kawartha Dairy has recently constructed a 54,000-square-foot warehouse just south of Bobcaygeon to serve its provincial operations. Investments are also underway to modernize the production plant, our systems and our infrastructure.

Our work week is comprised of a 7-day work week at this time, including Sunday to Saturday but are only required to work 5 shifts.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Deliver accurate, appropriate and courteous customer service for the purpose of order entry
- Respond to all customer-initiated inquiries (internal and external), delivering fast and efficient service, while displaying a strong sense of ownership. Re-directing calls to the appropriate personnel when needed.
- Resolve inquiries at first point of contact where possible and escalate complex issues that require resolution by more senior team members as applicable
- Work in collaboration with other team members to ensure the overall service levels are met or exceeded
- Provide transactional and delivery system support to Delivery Associates while in the field
- Assist with generating any manual paperwork when necessary

**What you Need to Get the Job Done**:

- High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
- Preference for 1-3 years of experience in a call centre, customer service and/or sales function
- Ability to work shifts outside of regular hours (weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays
- Someone with a solid aptitude for detailed work and accuracy
- Work collaboratively with all Kawartha Dairy teams in delivering a positive working environment
- Impeccable communication skills; Courteous and respectful in all interactions
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts
