We are proud of our work and commitment to create one of the leading workforce, products and services in the Aviation industry. **Reporting** The Service Technician reports directly to the General Manager of North America. **Core Competencies** - Attention to Detail - Communication (verbal and written) - Creative and Innovative Thinking - Critical Thinking - Interpersonal Skills - Flexible and Adaptable - Judgement - Computer Literate - Professionalism - Time Management **Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities** - Load and unload excavators and related parts. - Oversee machine placement and maintain machine warehouse management. - Conduct pre-delivery inspection and ensure machines are thoroughly clean prior to shipment. - Adhere to the machine delivery protocols. - Manage and maintain workshop facilities, ensuring they are properly cleaned and maintained. - Install machine attachments and options as required. - Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions. - Support parts warehouse work if needed. - Provide repair and maintenance services for dealers and customers when necessary. - Complete other related tasks arranged by the manager. **Qualifications** - Proven service experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry. - Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment. - Ability to work independently with limited supervision. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces. - Technical degree or certification is considered an asset. - A driver's license and reliable transportation is required. **Experience** - Minimum 5 years of experience in Workshop Technician or Service Technician. - Experienced using diagnostic tools is required. - Excavator/ Forklift experience is considered as an asset. **Our recruitment commitments**: - ** We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.**: - _ Avmax Group offers a competitive compensation package including an optimal benefits plan and pension plan._ - _ Avmax will accommodate the needs of applicants with disabilities throughout all stages of the selection process.
