**Primary Job Purpose**

The Service Technician is responsible for completing flooring repairs at various job sites throughout the city. In addition to providing excellent service to our customers, the Service Technician will need to collect signatures from the customers on work orders when services have been completed. The Service Technician must adhere to all safety policies, complete hazard assessments and participate in all service meetings. All paperwork (work orders, hazard assessments, etc.) is uploaded to the Company’s operating system.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Inspect, maintain and repair flooring products for clients at various job site throughout the city.
- Maintain cleanliness of service vehicles, tools and equipment.
- Complete hazard assessments, vehicle inspections and other safety documentation as outlined in the Company’s safety manual.
- Actively participate in service meetings.
- Obtain customer signatures on completed work orders.
- Upload all paperwork (work orders, hazard assessments) to the Company’s operating system.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude at all times.
- Communicate with the service team in the office as required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Emergency First Aid Certification
- Basic hand tool experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to troubleshoot, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Ability to work well individually with little supervision
