**BAKER & COOK NEEDED**

Zocalo is hungry for a sweet foodie and baker with initiative who wants to grow with us. You would be responsible for creating all the baked goods for the coffee bar (muffins, squares, cookies etc.), preparing small savoury lunch menu items and the week’s food preparation for the great crowd of people who love Zocalo and Little Italy.

As an energetic, detail-oriented self-starter with at least a few years experience in food-service, you’re needed for a growing funky lifestyle/decor store with coffee bar located near downtown Edmonton. An exciting opportunity, this position promises growth and challenges as an integral part of a lively and creative team.

Part-time position, approximately 20 hours/week. Starts immediately. Option for position to be full-time.

Essential skills: Love of food, attention to detail, food service and food prep skills, baking experience, ability to communicate effectively and work well with a diverse team. Must have food safety course and preferably professional culinary training.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
