Are you a positive, organized, and energetic individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic office environment? Sterling Fire Protection Services is seeking a Summer Student Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our company and keep our office running smoothly
**About the Role**:
As our receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, playing a vital role in creating a friendly, professional, and well-organized environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop administrative and communication skills while contributing to the day-to-day success of our team.
- Schedule: This position requires availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Punctuality and reliability are essential: we depend on you to be present and ready to greet visitors and support the team on time each day

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately
- Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area
- Keep the office kitchen fully stocked and sparkling clean
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed
- Support general office organization and cleanliness
- Assist with internal communications, including company newsletters and posters
- Help coordinate and plan company events
- Support other administrative tasks as assigned
- A positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace Applications
- Experience or comfort using design tools like Canva or Poster My Wall
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to pitch in and take initiative
